In a recent article in Digital Spy Jennifer Lawrence talks about her experience as a 2011 Oscar nominee. Here’s what Jennifer had to say :
Jennifer Lawrence has confessed that she found her 2011 Oscar nomination to be “stressful”.
The actress, who was recognized in the ‘Best Actress’ category for her work in Winter’s Bone, revealed that the experience left her feeling ill-at-ease as she was no longer herself following the announcement of the nominations.
“Oscar season was surreal and bizarre. It’s the biggest thing that can happen to an actress and then it’s also… they call your name on the news at 5 o’clock in the morning and it’s not your life anymore,” she told Marie Claire.
“The Oscars itself was the most fun but all those shows leading up to it had so much stress. Like this dress and that dress… I felt like a politician on a campaign trail.”
