IndieWire’s The Playlist has a great new father/daughter scene from Woody Harrelson’s upcoming film Rampart. But don’t watch if you are looking for mushy, happy moments. This is a tough scene to watch between Woody’s character and his teenage daughter. Watch it HERE.

In addition, NextMovie is reporting that the screeners of Rampart sent out to awards voters, intending for their viewing and voting, had glitches on them that may affect the likelihood that Harrelson will get his well-deserved nominations this awards season.

Harrelson is looking like a frontrunner for this year’s Best Actor Oscar for his role in cop drama “Rampart,” but it seems that a technical error on copies of the screener sent to Academy members may hinder his chances. Gold Derby reports that distributor Millennium Entertainment has sent out a letter to Academy members saying, “It has been brought to our attention that the DVD screeners sent to some Academy members are severely flawed. They were compressed and replicated incorrectly which caused digital noise, artifacting, solarization, and horizontal banding lines to appear on the screener. These technical problems do not exist on the original film.”

What a bummer! Let’s hope new DVDs get out in time!
