Writer Michael Showalter confirmed last night on Watch What Happens Live that there will be a sequel to the cult favorite Wet Hot American Summer, and all the cast will return, including Elizabeth Banks.

“Wet Hot American Summer” writer and star Michael Showalter stopped by Wednesday night and answered the question fans have been dying to ask: Is there going to be a “Wet Hot American Summer” sequel?

“Absolutely yes, one hundred percent yes,” said Showalter. “The whole gang, everyone’s back, we’re doing it.”
