Bridesmaids star Ben Falcone (aka Air Marshall Jon) plays the father of Elizabeth Banks’ baby in What to Expect When You’re Expecting and jokingly talked about going for a role in Catching Fire. Do you think he might fit one of our characters?

Yup, Melissa McCarthy‘s real-life funnyman hubby Ben Falcone says he’s all about the Suzanne Collins franchise.

And he has a really good connection—he plays Hunger star Elizabeth Banks‘ husband in What to Expect When You’re Expecting (out May 18).

“I knew she had done this movie and then someone showed me a picture of her and it was so cool!” Falcone remembers. “I was like, I wanna be one of those.

“So I’ve been openly campaigning to be in it,” he continued. “I want to be one of those Capitol dwellers. I want my hair to be 8 feet tall and have purple skin.”
