If you missed Elizabeth Banks’s live chat with fans last night, you can get all caught up by reading it in its entirety over at her website! While she doesn’t discuss any Hunger Games, she does talk about her new film People Like Us and gives her fashion faves. A few highlights below:
MarkusMc40 asked “What is your favorite summer flick?”
@MarkusMc40 Dirty Dancing.
WTForever21 said, “I love you in The Baxter and Wet Hot American Summer is one of my favorite movies. What’s your favorite comedy? Something that makes you laugh every time.”
@WTForever21 I know this is weird but I laugh really hard at a lot of Pulp Fiction. “I don’t know you!”
Alfredo Horna Portero asked, “What was it like filming People Like Us and working with Michelle Pffeifer? Is it a special film for you?”
@Alfredo Horna Portero: It is special for me because it was a huge challenge – it is a very emotional but funny film – and I enjoy walking that line. Like in life, right? It’s a roller coaster.
@Alfredo Horna Portero: Follow-up, I didn’t work with American-acting-icon Michelle. She plays Chris Pine’s mom and we are connected but we never meet in the film. But she was way cool to meet in person.
Miranda said, “People Like Us looks amazing! Can’t wait to see it! What was the process like getting into your character Frankie and how did you personally relate to her and her struggles?”
@Miranda My character, Frankie, is a recovering alcoholic in AA. I attended meetings and I think it is an amazing organization. I know others like her and I am proud of them for seeking help and working the program.
Camillehungergames asked, “Are you more dress girl or do you prefer a t-shirt and pants?”
@Camillehungergames In summer I am all about dresses. It’s too hot for pants.
Kisu asked, “What is your perfect summer day?”
@Kisu 85 degrees, breezy. Great food, great friends, no place to be but right where I am.
