RUMOR : Sam Claflin offered the role of Finnick Odair?

Here’s an interesting rumor that has just surfaced, Zap2It is reporting that Snow White and the Huntsman star Sam Claflin has been offered the part of Finnick.

According to Zap2It :

Sources tell Zap2it exclusively that the most coveted role in ”The Hunger Games” sequel ”Catching Fire” has been cast — and British actor Sam Claflinhas got the gig. Official reps for the film won’t comment on the casting, but our reliable sources reveal that producer Nina Jacobson and Lionsgate have signed off on Clafin’s offer.

Now he just has to accept the role!

Claflin beat out actors like Jennifer Lawrence’s “X-Men: The First Class” costar Lucas Till and “90210″ hunk Trevor Donovan for the role — as well as more recognizable names, like Armie Hammer and Garrett Hedlund.

Keep in mind this is all just rumors for now, but interesting choice if true. What do you think of Sam for Finnick? Sound off in the comments

Not at all. I’ve read Catching Fire THREE times and I dont really picture Finnick looking like that, I think that Grant Gustin should play Finnick Odair.

Meh. I think it’s good enough(: I think if they cast him, it will be successful<3 I mean, look at Katniss, Peeta, and Gale. They already did such a great job.

Can’t really decide whether I like him for finnick or not but I think he is deffinetly a good enough actor for the part.

I’m agree with Liza. I mean, I don’t think that’s the best actor for Finnick, but I think that if this is true, he is a really good actor for Finnick’s character.
