We won’t see Jennifer Lawrence do her requisite career horror flick until September 21st, but a TV spot for “House at the End of the Street” has hit the Internet for the film following its debut on Monday’s Teen Choice Awardsthat acts more like a montage of moments looking to scare up some excitement for the picture – and less a scene meant to show the film’s tone/style/etc. Not differing much from the early trailers, we see Lawrence aimlessly sauntering about the grounds of her new home, which is located directly next to the house where a young girl and her family were viciously murdered years before, in which the troublemaker she’s crushing on currently resides. You know how the rest goes, and it looks like this could be your typical domestic possession movie, only with a fine talent like Lawrence in the lead. There’s plenty of shots of distant apparitions and Lawrence waking up next to what looks like a dead body, but what’s best is that the clip encourages tech-savvy viewers to use the odd acronym “#HATES” as a Twitter hash tag to promote the film.
