‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ a ‘safe bet’ for Hall H at Comic Con

San Diego Comic Con badges sold out in a whopping 90 minutes on Saturday, with technical glitches leaving many frustrated fans unable to get registered for a badge. It’s sure to be a big year in the big hall at the Con, Hall H, and Collider takes a stab at what films/TV shows might be having their panel there.

Another safe bet is a preview of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Summit/Lionsgate will want to fill that Twilight void, and Catching Fire’s November release date provides them with the perfect opportunity to kick the pic’s marketing campaign into high gear.

Twilight has been in Hall H for several years in a row and will surely leave a hole. Let’s see if Catching Fire might fill it. We didn’t get a panel for The Hunger Games last year as there was nothing to show at the panel, but based on the timing of the sequel’s theatrical release, my guess is some real goodies will be brought for fans.

I was so looking forward to going to my first Comic Con to attend the Hunger Games festivities. I was unable to get a badge for the event even though I participated right at the bell. Very disappointed!
