Our Hunger Games cast Eric Hennig (Featured extra in the Game center control room ), Nelson Ascensio (Flavius), Kimiko Gelman (Venia), Brooke Bundy (Octavia), Jackie Emerson (Foxface), Amandla Stenberg (Rue) and Dayo Okeniyi (Thresh) made an appearance at the Fiction2Film Saturday night gala celebration on 6/23/12 where fans were able to interact with the cast members, dance, and just have a GREAT time!!
I have to say all of the cast members were so nice and personable! I even spotted Jackie and Amandla dancing away with fans during the evening!

Our design team members Nelson Ascencio (Flavius), Brooke Bundy (Octavia) and Kimiko Gelman (Venia) attended the Fiction2Film Hunger Games convention 6/23/12. Check out their pics and a summary of our tweets from their fan panel! These guys are AWESOME!!
1. Design team is up. Nelson says the horses in the chariot scene emitted some awful smells LOL
2. Kimiko (Venia) wasn’t sure exactly how she would look till the day of the shoot.
3. Nelson (Flavius) says took over a week to design his hair style
4. Kimiko (Venia) says Donald Sutherland didn’t recognize her outside of her costume
5. Nelson says watching the tribute interviews was a lot of fun
6. Nelson read the trilogy in a week
7. Nelson and Kimiko says Lenny Kravitz is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet
8. Brooke (octavia)says the Hunger Games has opened a lot of doors for her, but still occaisionally babysits :)
9. Nelson says he is excited to how his character will be incorporated in Mockingjay
10. Nelson relates the style of Blade Runner to #HungerGames
11. Brookes favorite part is when the games are about to begin and that’s when it hit her she was in the #HungerGames

As clips from “The Hunger Games” Los Angeles premiere aired, several Brooklyn moms had the same reaction:
That’s my baby-sitter on the red carpet!
“I was like, ‘Holy crap!’ ” laughed Ellen Moncure Wong, who recognized her neighbor, Brooke Bundy, posing alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Woody Harrelson at the blockbuster opening.
“Not only is she in a big movie, but she actually has a real part,” said Wong, of Ditmas Park.
Bundy, 24, plays Octavia, one of the three makeup artists who beautify Katniss (Lawrence) under head stylist Cinna (played by Lenny Kravitz) for the televised death match in the film.
“I knew she was an actor, but she was really humble about this project,” said fellow Ditmas Park parent Liz Fisher, who hires Bundy to watch her two kids, Abe, 8, and Rose, 4.
“I got a text from another mom saying, ‘Did you know your baby-sitter is in ‘The Hunger Games?’ ” I was excited to see it before, but I’m really excited now.”
Before Bundy landed a role in the year’s biggest movie, which has already raked in $251 million at the box office, she booked her breakout baby-sitting gig with Brokelyn.com blogger Faye Penn.
“She’s amazing,” said Penn, who hired Bundy to pick up her sons from school after spotting her on nanny site Sittercity.com.
“She is the envy of the schoolyard because she’s so good with kids. Every parent wants her.”
