Toby Jones (Claudius Templesmith) is joining the cast of Fox’s Wayward Pines. It looks like it is set to air in 2014. Read more details below.
From Chad Hodge (The Playboy Club) and M. Night Shyamalan, the 10-episode drama is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Blake Crouch and is described as a thriller in the vein of Twin Peaks. The project revolves around Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon), a Secret Service agent who arrives in the bucolic town of Wayward Pines, Idaho, on a mission to find two missing federal agents. But instead of answers, Ethan’s investigation only turns up more questions. Each step closer to the truth takes Ethan further from the life he knew, from the husband and father he was, until he must face the terrifying reality that he may never get out of Wayward Pines alive.
BAFTA and Golden Globe nominee Jones will play Dr. Jenkins, a psychiatrist who treats Ethan at Wayward Pines Hospital. Jenkins is convinced Ethan suffered brain damage in a car crash which is the cause of his paranoia. Wary of this diagnosis, Ethan believes there’s more to Dr. Jenkins than meets the eye.

Toby Jones’ 2012 thriller Berberian Sound Studio is finally making its way stateside this June, and a new, international trailer has been released. The film was directed by Peter Strickland. Here’s the synopsis for it:
In the 1970s, a British sound technician is brought to Italy to work on the sound effects for a gruesome horror film. His nightmarish task slowly takes over his psyche, driving him to confront his own past. Berberian Sound Studio is many things: an anti-horror film, a stylistic tour de force, and a dream of cinema. As such, it offers a kind of pleasure that is rare in films, while recreating in a highly original way the pleasures of Italian horror cinema.
Here is the new poster for Toby Jones’s (Claudius Templesmith) new movie Berberian Sound Studio. The movie which is a thriller will be in theaters June 14th 2013. Looks interesting for sure to say the least!
