Willow Shields was at London’s World Premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire earlier this week, and she spoke about a variety of topics. Refinery29 has a quick interview with Willow:
While the 13-year-old isn’t immune to a typical celebrity crush — that’d be singer Austin Mahone, FYI — she’s refreshingly humble and gracious. While her big-screen alter ego Primrose is saved by big sister, Katniss, Shields says, in real life, it’s her parents who have helped her most.
“My dad took off work for the whole year to travel with me, because my mom has to stay home with my brother and sister,” she said. “They love it, and we have fun, but it’s still a big sacrifice.”
Of course, we had to ask Shields what her special skill might be if she got in on the Tribute action.
“I do gymnastics, so there could be something involved where I need to flip out of the way or cartwheel out of the way,” she suggested.
