The grand prize for Blacksparrow Auctions’ Hunger Games Sweepstakes is a collection of two Hunger Games movie companion books and six posters. The books are The Hunger Games: Official Illustrated Movie Companion and The World of the Hunger Games, both by Kate Egan. The prize also includes character posters for Peeta, Haymitch, Rue, Cinna and Cato. Lastly, the prize will include a Catching Fire poster.

It’s the new year and most of us probably have a goal to get in the best shape of our lives this year, and how about a little Hunger Games marathon to kick start your journey! Yes it’s true! January 12th will be the first Hunger Games themed 5k marathon/obstacle course held in the Los Angeles area, and we are giving one of our LOS ANGELES Area BASED ( must be located in the LA or surrounding areas, sorry guys, that’s where it is located) HgGirlOnFire readers the chance to participate in the first ever Hunger Runs!

The Hunger Runs is an obstacle course designed with the HG arena in mind, you’ll have to shoot bow and arrows and work as a team or “Organization” as you will be called to earn points and complete the course with the fastest time to win prizes and awards fitting for any victor! Once you register you’ll be named a “Dedication” and be called to form an Organization of fellow Dedications to be your pack throughout the runs. Together you’ll complete tasks such as archery to earn points, and finish the run to be named the victors of the first ever Hunger Runs! And if you can’t participate in the Runs, why not join the “Assembly” and cheer your favorite organizations on as they complete their tasks! Very Capitol like huh?
