Glee’s Grant Gustin confirms he auditioned for Finnick in ‘Catching Fire’

Grant Gustin a fancasting favorite for the coveted role of Finnick Odair in Catching Fire recently told the Insider that he has auditioned for the role of Finnick, and is waiting to see the outcome.

According to the Insider :

But Grant’s fans have plenty of projects to look forward to — not only will A Mother’s Nightmare premiere later this year on Lifetime, but the actor reveals he has officially thrown his hat into the ring to play Finnick in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire! “I have auditioned for the role,” he says, confirming lots of fan desire/speculation. “I don’t think [the producers] know what they’re looking for just yet, but yes, I auditioned for the role.

    I like him but he’s not Finnick. I don’t want to sound too picky because whoever Lionsgate chooses for Finnick I’ll support it, but Grant Gustin looks younger than Jennifer and Josh and wouldn’t look good in the movie,

    I’ll be honest. He is the one I pictured in my head when I read catching fire, but I have to agree with other people. He looks young for finnick, but if ever he is going to play finnick he better put some muscles.

    im sorry he CANNOT be finnick just no i want either garret or if i gave to pick someone from glee definitely CHORD OVERSTREET! 5x more sex appeal then this guy

    he could be finnick…..but he needs green eyes and SOOO much more muscle…and he DOES need to look older than Katniss and Peeta.
